The Entourage Edit

Global perspectives from Entourage Collection

Over the last 10 years, Entourage Collection has grown and diversified greatly since it first started as an events company. We have since opened an office in Hong Kong and have worked with some of the most talented creative and business minds in the world along the way. The journey has been incredible, one of tremendous learning, growth, creativity and exploration.
After a complete rebranding, we now have Entourage Concierge, Entourage Projects and Entourage Events under our umbrella, and I am extremely proud and excited to announce our newest venture:
Entourage Travel

What has remained at the core of our values and ethos from the beginning has been a commitment to our clients to provide the highest level of service, and a true ingenuity in our ability to think outside the box in the curation and creation of the incredible projects we are thrilled to be a part of.

We have seen many trends in consumer spending habits and interests, and are very happy to see a move away from fast fashion to more thoughtful, conscious consumerism (buying good quality that lasts over quantity), a move towards more conscious travel (combining educational or philanthropic endeavours with luxury travel) and a general desire for learning and living more enriching lives.

We are honoured to be a part of this change and look forward to many more years of curating and creating experiences in all their forms.

Destinations we are lusting over this month…

Retreat East Suffolk

Deep in the Suffolk countryside, this member’s only country club has now opened its doors to all. Check in for a rural escape from city life, a place where wellness and relaxation takes centre stage…

Back in 2005, architect Dominic Richards bought 35 acres of dilapidated land in Suffolk with the dream of creating a members only, holiday home concept.

In 2017, Retreat East opened and FarmShare™ launched, giving members the luxury of a second home without the hassle. For less than the cost of a garage in London, each FarmShare™ owner is entitled to stay a minimum of ten nights per the calendar year, with the option to purchase more.

Retreat East is now also open to non-members, allowing guests to book a barn or studio like they would a hotel. The Farmhouse sleeps 8 whilst the barns sleep from 2 to 4 guests. The Great Barn restaurant is open for brunch and dinner over the weekend only so for mid week stays guests either self-cater or venture out to the surrounding restaurants and hotels.

Wellness is at the very heart of Retreat East, everything is designed to help you switch off from the world around you. There’s an onsite spa and gym and outdoor activities such as cycling, clay pigeon shooting and horse riding.

Re-opened last year after a $35 million refurbishment, the resort is on the Peninsula Papagayo. A 1,400-acre private paradise with 11 miles of coastline, 7 beaches and four UNESCO World Heritage sites.

From the underwater depths of the Golfo Dulce to the sprawling tropical forests along Guanacaste’s wild volcanic mountain range, Costa Rica is home to a variety of micro-climates filled with rare species that few people ever get to see up close. Treat the Four Seasons as your launching pad into boundless adventures; zip lining, surfing, hiking the Arenal volcano, rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, waterfall rappelling, cave tours, a catamaran cruise – the list is endless.

A 100 acre estate in the heart of Stellenbosch. There’s wine (obviously), diamonds (courtesy of owner Laurence Graff), infinity pools, a botanical garden and a spa; what more could you wish for?

A Relais & Chateaux property where striking Cape Dutch architecture meets African artefacts and styling, with original art from Laurence Graff’s personal collection. There are breathtaking views of the Stellenbosch valley with distant views of Table Mountain.

Around 20 hectares of vineyards on the Botmaskop Mountain peak are planted with Bordeaux reds and Chardonnay pesticide-free grapes expertly tended by hand, which thrive in the special climate.

The Lodge at Blue Sky, Utah

A year-round playground in Utah’s world-famous mountains; fishing for trout on pristine private streams, hiking, alpine yoga sessions, heli-skiing and horse back riding through private trails.

Launched as an adventure destination a decade ago by Mike and Barb Phillips, who partnered with Auberge Resorts in 2017 to bring to life their dream of a luxury hotel on the resort.

The 3,500 acre plots gives guests access to a year-round playground; fishing for trout on pristine private streams, hiking, alpine yoga sessions, heli-skiing and horse back riding through private trails are just a number of activities you can sign up for.

If you’re after relaxation then look no further then the 7,400 square foot Edge Spa, perched on the side of a dramatic precipice overlooking Alexander Creek.

La Bandiera

Nestled among the famous vineyards of Ornellaia and Sassicaia, La Bandiera is one of the oldest, privately-owned estates on the Tuscan coast. Dipping into La Bandiera’s premium, award-winning, single-estate, organic olive oil is one of life’s great pleasures.  It has a gorgeous golden colour, with olives harvested from the moraiolo, leccino and frantoio trees when they are just beginning to ripen in October, and blended in-house in order to capture and preserve the characteristics so typical of olive oil from the region of Bolgheri – full-bodied with fruity and spicy aromas.

Restaurant in demand: Circolo Popolare

The winter chill has crept in so our thoughts have turned to carbs, the Italian variety in particular. Click here for our menu highlights from this Big Mama Group restaurant, opened in June.

Glastonbury 2020: 50th Anniversary

2020 sounds scarily futuristic, but also particularly auspicious so we think you can expect great things from Glastonbury’s 50th Anniversary.

Worthy Farm, Somerset

Originally the Pilton Festival and first held in 1970 by the ingenious dairy farmer Michael Eavis, who owns and grew up on Worthy Farm. Fifty years on, we think you would be hard pressed to find anyone, literally, who hasn’t heard of the infamously muddy festival that attracts the world’s biggest musical talent.

General release tickets have already sold out but VIP tickets will become available from February.
